DigiPlus Foundation
From Process to Impact
In March 2026, we participated in The Multiplier Pitch, part of DigiPlus’ Lark Efficiency Pioneer Competition—a 10-week, company-wide initiative anchored on the theme “Inside Out: Rethinking Our Processes.” With over 100 participants across 20+ teams, the goal was clear: identify opportunities within our own systems and build solutions that improve efficiency and strengthen overall business capability. More than just a competition, it was a platform to rethink how we work and how we can do better. Our team was honored to receive the Bridge Builder Award (2nd Place), recognizing solutions that connect systems, teams, and processes to create meaningful and scalable impact.
Our focus was rooted in a real challenge within DigiPlus Foundation. As the organization’s social impact arm, we collaborate with brands like BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone to deliver programs across key pillars—technology education, accessible healthcare, community resilience, and inclusive empowerment. These initiatives range from scholarships and classroom building to medical missions, disaster response, and livelihood support. However, behind every initiative lies a complex layer of documentation, compliance requirements aligned with PAGCOR, budget approvals, and reporting processes. While these are critical for governance and accountability, they often result in delays, fragmented workflows, and siloed coordination across teams.
We recognized that the challenge was not the lack of intent or resources, but the lack of a unified system that enables teams to move efficiently and collaboratively. This led us to develop a Lark-based system designed to streamline how CSR initiatives are initiated, processed, and executed. Through structured forms, departments can easily submit collaboration requests with complete and standardized information. Workflows are centralized, making approvals clear, traceable, and compliant. Data is captured with full integrity, allowing for better visibility, informed decision-making, and more accurate reporting. Integrated dashboards provide a clearer view of impact and ROI, while eliminating the inefficiencies of disconnected tools and manual tracking.
More importantly, the system creates a shared workflow that breaks down silos between teams. Instead of fragmented communication and duplicated efforts, everything is aligned within a single ecosystem. This not only improves operational clarity but also significantly reduces processing time—cutting administrative workload by up to 50%. What used to take weeks can now be executed much faster, without compromising compliance or quality.
At its core, our solution is about enabling the organization to move with greater speed and precision in delivering social impact. By simplifying the internal processes, we remove friction that slows down execution. This allows us—and our partner brands—to respond more quickly to the needs of communities, ensuring that support reaches Filipinos in a more timely and efficient manner.
I’m deeply grateful to be part of a team within DigiPlus Foundation that continuously looks for ways to improve not just what we do, but how we do it. This experience reinforced the value of combining strategic thinking with practical execution—identifying real bottlenecks, designing systems around them, and building solutions that are both scalable and sustainable. The Bridge Builder Award is a reflection of that effort, highlighting the importance of connecting systems, teams, and processes to create meaningful outcomes.
Ultimately, this experience reminded me that innovation is not always about introducing entirely new ideas. Sometimes, the biggest impact comes from fixing what already exists—making it simpler, faster, and more effective. In our case, it meant rethinking how we manage the operational side of social impact, so we can focus more on what truly matters: delivering help where it is needed, when it is needed.
